Senior care that isn’t one size fits all

Safe Seniors Home Care, LLC is an in-home service provider that assists individuals and their families with personal and home care. We aren’t a big franchise or a nationally owned conglomerate. We are a small locally owned business that’s dedicated to delivering uniquely personal care that helps our clients lead dignified, independent lives in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

Everything about our company and our care is fueled by our founder’s extensive experience and compassionate commitment to the geriatric population and its needs. We know that one size does not fit all when it comes to senior care. We carefully assess the unique needs of your situation and diligently select trained personnel to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.

We believe that you and your loved ones deserve to be treated like family. Let us show you a better way when it comes to senior care.

From our founder

Are you looking for safe, reliable in-home care for you or a loved one? I’ve been in your shoes. My exhaustive search for trustworthy, safe care for my aging parents, who don’t live locally, inspired me to start Safe Seniors Home Care. I want to provide a more personal in-home care experience – one that I would want for my own parents.

I have been an RN for nearly 30 years and I have worked in a variety of acute health care settings, from orthopedics, telemetry and medical-surgical, to geriatric neuro-psychiatry, oncology, medical sales, home health and hospice. I have extensive nursing management experience in both acute and long-term care settings, including holding assistant director of nursing and director of nursing roles.

I spent the last 12 years with the American Red Cross in senior management and executive management roles, where I managed more than 400 staff in North and South Carolina across multiple remote locations before being promoted to CEO of the Carolinas. As CEO, I was responsible for maintaining community and hospital relationships, leading a staff of 1,000 paid employees and managing a budget of $100 million and more than 400,000 blood collections. During my tenure as CEO, the region exceeded its collection targets (becoming the largest blood collection region in the American Red Cross) and experienced the highest employee engagement scores in the eastern division.

I ultimately left my executive role to return to my roots and my home in Sumter, South Carolina. Coming home inspired me to pursue my passion for caring for the elderly, an area that has been a mainstay of my career. Quality senior care is not only an inspiration but also a much needed service that I have experienced firsthand.

Nearly 90 percent of people over age 65 want to stay at home for as long as possible. That desire should be a right, not a privilege.

Let Safe Seniors Home Care help you or your loved one stay at home for as long as possible with independence, dignity and safe, quality care.
